Organic Sage essential oil

Salvia officinalis

Also known as common sage, it is a powerful oil, hormonally active, and neurotoxic in certain doses, so it must be used with great caution and under professional supervision. Despite this, it has very specific and beneficial uses, particularly in the female hormonal balance, digestive, and circulatory areas. It is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the plant. Its name comes from the Latin word “salvare,” meaning “to heal” or “to save.” In ancient Greece and Rome, it was used to stop bleeding, treat snake bites, and improve memory. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the “four sacred herbs,” along with rosemary, lavender, and thyme.

· Hormonal balancer: stimulates menstruation, useful for amenorrhea, irregular or painful periods, and also alleviates menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and emotional imbalance.
· Antispasmodic: relieves menstrual and digestive cramps.
· Antiseptic, antiviral, and antifungal: effective against respiratory and skin infections.
· Natural antiperspirant: Acts on the sweat glands. · Commonly used in natural deodorants.
· Astringent: useful for excessive sweating, acne, or oily skin.

· Brain stimulant and nerve tonic: improves concentration, mental clarity, and combats lethargy.

Massage the lower abdomen once a day, for a maximum of 5 days. · Excessive sweating: 1 drop + 10 ml of sage or witch hazel hydrosol. · Apply to armpits or soles of feet.<br>For diffusion (occasional and brief use)<br>· For mental fatigue or a heavy atmosphere: 1–2 drops in a diffuser for 10–15 minutes, no more than once a day.<br>· It can be blended with lavender or lemon oil to soften its intensity.<br>For oral use (Use only with medical prescription)<br>· For hormonal or digestive regulation (professional internal use): 1 drop on a neutral tablet, no more than once a day for up to 3 days, under professional supervision.
