· Minor burns or wounds: apply 1–2 drops neat directly to the area, repeat 2–3 times a day.
· Muscle pain or contractures: 5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of arnica or St. John’s wort oil, massage the area.
· Tension headache: massage the temples with 1 drop of lavender mixed with 3 drops of vegetable oil.
· Insect bites: 1 drop neat directly on the bite, repeat every 2–3 hours.
For diffusion <br>· Relaxation and insomnia: 4–8 drops in an ultrasonic diffuser, 20–30 minutes before bedtime.
· Can be blended with mandarin, sweet orange, or marjoram.
