The Geranium Bourbon essential oil is a variety native to Reunion Island (formerly Bourbon Island, located off Madagascar). It is widely used in aromatherapy for its balanced composition and skin tolerance. It is valued for its floral, soft, and slightly sweet aroma. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flower and leaves. In energetic medicine, it is used to “cleanse the aura,” provide emotional protection, and open the heart chakra.

· Skin tonic and astringent: regulates sebum production, useful for oily skin, acne, eczema, dermatitis, and mature skin.
· Healing and cell-regenerating: promotes the healing of wounds, minor burns, and stretch marks.

Uses and Precautions	For skin use (Always diluted)<br>· Acne, eczema, oily or aging skin: mix 2 drops of Geranium Bourbon essential oil in 10 ml of vegetable oil (jojoba, rosehip, or argan). Apply 1–2 times daily to the affected area.<br>· Healing / stretch marks: 2 drops of essential oil + 8 drops of vegetable oil, gently massage the affected area.<br>· Cellulite or fluid retention: 4 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of hazelnut or almond oil, massage legs from bottom to top.<br>· Insect repellent: 2 drops of essential oil in 5 ml of vegetable oil, apply to exposed areas.<br>For diffusion<br>· Stress, anxiety, insomnia, or for fragrance: 5–6 drops in an ultrasonic diffuser for 20–30 minutes. Can be combined with lavender, sweet orange, or bergamot.<br>For oral use (professional supervision required)<br>· Mycosis or infections: 1 drop in a teaspoon of honey or on a neutral tablet, a maximum of twice a day and never for more than 7 days.<br>· Only under the prescription of an aromatherapist or doctor. Precautions -Always dilute in a vegetable oil before applying to the skin.
