Eucalyptus globulus

Rectified eucalyptus essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Eucalyptus globulus and undergoes a rectification process, an additional distillation process to eliminate unwanted compounds and achieve greater purity and safety in its use. It is traditionally used for lower respiratory tract conditions. In the 19th century it was used as a hospital antiseptic and to clean medical tools. It is one of the tallest and fastest growing trees.

Physically

· Expectorant and mucolytic: helps expel mucus from the bronchi and lungs.
· Respiratory antiseptic: useful for colds, flu, bronchitis, sinusitis, rhinitis.
· Nasal and bronchial decongestant.
· Febrifuge and refreshing: helps reduce fever naturally.
· Antimicrobial: mild antibacterial and antiviral, and environmental antiseptic (purifies the air).
· Analgesic and circulation support: mild anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect (muscle and joint pain) and mild stimulant of peripheral circulation, improving blood flow in the legs.

Uses and Precautions	For skin use (Always diluted)<br>· Dilute 2–3 drops of essential oil in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (approx. 2% dilution). · Apply to the chest and back to relieve respiratory congestion, or on muscles/joint pain 1–2 times daily. For inhalation/ For diffusion <br>· Room Diffusion: 4-6 drops in a diffuser, 2-3 times a day. · Direct Inhalation (steam): 1-2 drops in warm water, inhale for 5-10 minutes (ideal for decongesting).<br>Aromatic baths<br>· Mix 5-10 drops in a dispersing base (salts, milk, or honey) and add to bath water. · Helpful for both the respiratory system and for emotional revitalization.
